As a 501(c)(3) educational charity, the Rhode Island Atheist Society relies on members to join us and help promote a positive view of atheism in Rhode Island. All memberships* and donations are tax-deductible. As a member of the RIAS you are eligible for:
- Holding office in the RIAS
- Voting in RIAS Elections
- Voting on issues and concerns
In addition to the official functions of a member, you will also recieve:
- One (1) Rhode Island Atheist Society sticker (with new membership)
- Quarterly RIAS newsletter
Membership is $25 per year. By Clicking on the Paypal button below, you agree to the following:
- I am 18 years of age or older.
- I agree with the aims and purpose of the Rhode Island Atheist Society as stated in its Mission Statement.
Membership renewal is not automatic. You must renew your membership annually. A member of our membership commitee should contact you with a gentle reminder when you are eligible for a renewal.
Memberships that are eligible for a free RIAS sticker are deductible minus the value of the free sticker. The deductible portion of the new membership is $20. Subsequent annual membership renewals are fully deductible at the $25 amount.
